ProofPocket

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

ProofPocket is designed as a private purchase proof wallet. Your purchase details, receipt photos, scanned documents, PDFs, notes, return deadlines, and warranty dates are stored on your device. We do not run an account system, advertising system, analytics system, or cloud service for your proof-of-purchase content.

This Privacy Policy explains how ProofPocket handles information when you use the ProofPocket iOS app and this website. In this policy, "ProofPocket", "we", and "us" means the operator of the ProofPocket app. If you have questions, contact us at proofpocket.support@gmail.com.

Information you add to the app

You may choose to save purchase records in ProofPocket. A purchase record can include:

This information is stored locally by the app using Apple's on-device storage systems. Proof attachment files are saved as local image or PDF files inside the app's private application storage. We do not upload this content to our own servers.

Device permissions

ProofPocket asks for device permissions only when needed for a feature you choose to use:

You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings. If you disable a permission, the related feature may stop working until you enable it again.

Purchases and ProofPocket Pro

ProofPocket may offer a one-time ProofPocket Pro unlock through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.

ProofPocket uses RevenueCat to manage Pro entitlement status when the purchase SDK is configured in the app. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information needed to validate purchases, restore purchases, and keep your Pro status active, such as product identifiers, transaction or receipt status, entitlement status, an anonymous app user identifier, and app/device information required for purchase operations.

Apple and RevenueCat process this information under their own privacy practices: Apple Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Support emails

If you contact us for support, we receive the email address you use and the information you choose to include in your message. Please avoid sending receipt files, financial details, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.

Website data

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and operate its network, such as IP address, request information, device/browser information, and security logs. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts to this website. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for more information about Cloudflare's practices.

What we do not do

Backups and device services

Your device settings may cause app data to be included in iCloud Backup or encrypted computer backups. These backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by ProofPocket. You can manage backup settings in iOS Settings.

Retention and deletion

Purchase records and proof attachments remain on your device until you delete them in the app, delete the app, or erase your device. Local reminder records are removed when related purchases or reminders are removed. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and maintain support records.

Purchase and entitlement records handled by Apple or RevenueCat are retained according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Legal bases for EEA and UK users

Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases:

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can exercise many choices directly on your device by deleting records, deleting attachments, changing permissions, disabling notifications, or deleting the app.

For purchase records handled by Apple, use your Apple account and App Store settings. For questions about information processed by RevenueCat for ProofPocket Pro, contact us and we will help route the request where appropriate.

Children's privacy

ProofPocket is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through a support request, contact us so we can delete it where appropriate.

International processing

Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, these providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards under their own privacy terms and data processing arrangements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if ProofPocket's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
